Vina's I Have a Dream speech - MLK

Reflection:

1. The message in MLK's speech is that everyone should be free and be treated equally. No one should judge or treat others bad because of the colour of their skin or religion. My favourite slide that I created was "We cannot turn back."
2. The creative uses of fonts in my presentation were based on the '5 tips for better typography'.
3. I will use fonts creatively in the future when I do any projects or presentations.
4. The most difficult part of the process for me, was figuring out what was important in each slide, and trying to make each slide different.
5. It's pretty simple! Press: File -> Save & Send -> Create a video -> Create a video (on the right hand side)
6. I wouldn't change anything about this project. It was fun learning about fonts, and the 'I Have a Dream' speech all at the same time!

Vina Dimayuga's Playing with iMovie

iMovie Videos

For the first video, I learned how to use pre-keyed effects and how to add sound effects in photos and videos.

In this video, I learned how to put a picture into another picture. I also learned how to do the same with videos.

For the last video, I learned how to add pictures, videos, and music in green screen.

Vina's Photoshop Elements Assignment

This Photoshop assignment was very fun, but tough. Although it was tough choosing what to use when editing, I enjoyed playing around with pictures, and learning what kinds of things can help make a photo became much better. I think I did a good job for my first time using Adobe Photoshop Elements 10.

Kamilah and Vina's Final Stop Motion: The Sleep Over

Final Draft:

This is our final stop motion video. We took more photos this time and made sure that the title won't take up half of the video. Making this video is a lot more easier that the first one. As you can see, the rough draft is a bit different than the final one that's because we did it at different locations. They aren't very similar from each other but the same idea. We also added scenes to the storyboard because the first one was a bit short.

Kamilah and Vina`s Stop Motion: The Sleep Over

This is mine and Kamilah`s first draft on our stop motion. At first it was very stressful because we had a hard time planing what we`re going to be doing. In the end we chose to have stuffed toys as our subject and it was a difficult to make them stand up while we were taking the pictures. It took us a while doing this because even though we had the pictures, we had a hard time making the video because of the software we were using.

Vina Dimayuga's First Stop Motion

This was my first time making a stop motion video. Although it was a bit challenging, I still enjoyed this project. I feel I did a good job on ensuring the consistent placement of the cube. Two things I'd like to improve on for future projects are getting my projects in on time, and use better lighting.
