Katie's Photoshop Elements Assignment

Reflection: It was a pretty fun assignment but a little bit stressing since mostly because I had a late start and mostly how I could only work on this on school and how slow the computers were. So it may not be my best work but that doesn't mean I wasn't fascinated. It interested me how much photo shop could change the photo and the atmosphere of it.

I re-edited the photo " A Sunset Dream" since the first edit was made to blurry and too dark. I changed the colors but still made it Orton mode. I'm thinking of changing the title to "Sunset Painting".

  1. Wonderful job Katie! The photos that you took were really amazing! I just didn't see that the orton effect on the picture "A Sunset Dream" was really needed because it took away what the picture really looks like. Overall good job editing! (:

  2. You did a great job taking the photos, and editing them in a different way but still managing to not take away the prettiness of the original photo. In the "Fast and Furious" you could've done it the other way and focused it on the people on the motorcycles, rather than blur them. You did overall an amazing job though! :)

  3. Good job! I love how you edited, they were very creative. Although some photos such as "Fall leaves" were a bit to colored. I especially loved the "wood decor" and "glistening fall" they were very well edited and very creative. Overall, you did a great job katie!

  4. I like how you sharpened the photos, and how you used the orton effect on the sunset. Your photos are very well edited.

  5. Great job Katie! I think you did a great job on all the edits of your photos. Maybe next time you can darken the "A Sunset Dream" just a little bit so that we are still able to see the concept of the photo. Other than that... Great job! :)

  6. Amazing job Katie! I loved every single one of your photos because you didn't edit it way too much, or way too little. All of your pictures were very creative and beautiful. :) I really enjoyed your presentation. I extremely liked slide 6. Although, I found slide 12 a little bit too dark, but it's still good. Other than that, everything was good. :)

  7. You have great photos! And your edits look really good. The best photo i liked when you edited it was the "Popping Korea", I like how in the edit every thing looked so bold. My least favorite id have to say is the "Sunset Dream" because i wasnt really sure if using the Orton Effect was the best choice for that picture and darkening the photo.
